GROUP WALKS
Group walks are one of the best activities for most dogs. Off-leash running and socializing with other dogs is vital to a dog’s physical and mental health. Group walks from Nomads are 90 minutes in length with a curated group of up to 6 dogs total. Walks are not training sessions, but common commands and recall exercises are enforced naturally during the walk. We will try to incorporate any current training you have ongoing at home when we can. Dogs are dropped off at home clean and tired!
Timing: Pickups for the first group walk of the day are between 8am – 9:30am (we start as early as we can!), with drop-offs after 10am.
The second group pickups start any time after 10am, with the dogs being dropped off before 4pm (later drop-offs may happen in poor conditions, but you will be contacted).
Timing is not guaranteed for any clients, but we will work hard to meet any requirements you may have.

Group Walks x 5 days per week = $39 per walk ($36 for the first TEN walks)
Group Walks x 3-4 days per week = $42 per walk ($39 for the first five walks)
Group Walks x 1-2 days per week = $45 per walk ($42 for the first five walks)

*discount applies if there are multiple dogs from the same house for the same walk, or for dogs that participate in both walks. Please inquire.
Dogs must be good off-leash with good recall (we can work toward that goal together), neutered or spayed, registered with the city, and be up to date on all their shots.
PRIVATE WALKS
Private walks are available for those unable to join in group walks. These walks are typically between 30 and 60 minutes each, depending on the needs of each client. It may be a walk in the neighbourhood or in the forest or at the beach! The main purpose of the private walks are an attempt to eventually integrate these dogs into larger group walks, but that’s not always possible. The private walks are not training sessions, although common commands and recall exercises will be enforced naturally during the time with the walk. The walker will help to re-enforce many current training activities during the walks – so just ask!
